| About us | Established in 1968, Southern Berkshire Ambulance Service (SBAS) is a not-for-profit Massachusetts ambulance service provider licensed at the Paramedic-level and staffed by career, part-time, and volunteer EMS providers. We provide primary 9-1-1 emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Alford, Ashley Falls, Egremont, Great Barrington, Housatonic, Monterey, Mount Washington, and Sheffield. We also provide Paramedic intercept services to a multitude of EMS organizations transporting to Fairview Hospital, and inter-facility transports from Fairview Hospital and Berkshire Medical Center to secondary and tertiary centers. |
