The mission of Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, Inc. is to provide for the needs of our community through selfless service under the sign of love.

At Catholic Charities we understand that disadvantage starts before birth and accumulates throughout life. For more than 70 years, Catholic Charities has provided services to the most vulnerable throughout San Antonio and Central Texas. In an effort to address the social disparities and its effects on mental health and overall well-being, we offer over 40 programs that seek to address inequalities throughout San Antonio and Bexar County in a holistic approach – placing individuals and family units at the center of our interventions. Catholic Charities offers programs assisting clients with; 1) homelessness prevention; 2) parenting programs; 3) food assistance; 4) poverty alleviation; 5) refugee resettlement services; 6) senior guardianship; 7) legal assistance; and 8) psychological counseling.
