America SCORES Cleveland

America SCORES inspires urban youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world.

Since 2004, America SCORES Cleveland has used a continuum of support to successfully build healthy and engaged learners. America SCORES Cleveland (SCORES) ensures that Cleveland youth, no matter their socioeconomic background, have access to quality after-school and enrichment programming. We engage and support poet-athletes to cultivate healthy, civically engaged students and leaders within our Cleveland community. Using SCORES’ soccer, creative writing, and community service curricula, students develop the experiences, knowledge, and skill sets to gain self-confidence, communicate more effectively, and develop healthy habits to help them realize their academic, social, and physical potential. Programming is delivered by SCORES staff, school staff and qualified community members.
