Needs |
Help Line & Shelter AttendantAs a volunteer, you'll be cross-trained to provide crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and practical assistance to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault either in the shelter or on the phone.Children Activities VolunteerEngage in recreational activities with children in shelter, provide childcare during groups or meetings, and assist the Youth Advocate during parties and other special events. Volunteers help role model healthy, non-violent relationships while providing support and assistance to children who have effected by domestc violence and/or sexual assault. |

About us | LACADA provides free and confidential support to live a life free from violence. Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault often feel alone and there is no where to turn. LACADA strives to empower survivors in regaining control in their lives through crisis intervention, advocacy, and support services. |
