Detroit Public Schools Foundation

To create and enhance educational opportunities for DPSCD students, families and educators.

We are an independent 501(c)3 entity that raises money to support Detroit Public Schools Community District students. In response to funding requests, we award grants to teachers, schools, and non-profits operating in the schools for programs and materials designed to enhance the students’ educational experiences. We connect schools and programs to supporters.We help the general public to understand the opportunities and challenges experienced every day in our educational institutions. Our organization is led by a group of dedicated community leaders who give their time and talent to help ensure that every student has an opportunity to receive a quality education. Every day our team works to raise the money, award the grants, and do whatever it takes to fulfill the Foundation’s mission.
