Our mission

The Charlottesville Police Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization of local citizens who help our police get the tools and training they need to do their best work.
Needs

The Foundation has many different ways for you to get involved, including assistance with: Cops 4 Kids Day, Annual Appreciation Dinner, Citizens Police Academy, Community Outreach Programs (new and existing), and helping us spread the word about what we do on Facebook by liking our page and sharing posts.

About us

The Charlottesville Police Foundation (CPF) was founded in 2004 by a group of dedicated local citizens to support the Charlottesville Police Department (CPD). The foundation fills many gaps by providing advanced training, new technologies and equipment, housing assistance in the form of grants, recognition of our police force, and structured community outreach through many events and programs.
