Food Rescue HeroFood Rescue heroes help reduce food waste by acting like an "uber" for potentially wasted food. We have tons of partners who have perfectly good food that often goes to waste; and while they do not want to throw it out, transportation is an issue. Food rescue heroes bridge that gap and ensure that food.Special Event VolunteerHunger Network has multiple annual events. We often look for volunteers on the planning committees who meet for about 9 months prior to the event and support the organization in a variety of capacities including logistical planning, marketing support, team recruitment and sponsorship solicitation. We also look for volunteers at the events with set-up, tear-down and overall event support. |
