Talbert House is empowering children, adults and families to live healthy, safe and productive lives.

Needs

281-CARE

281-CARE is a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, information and referral service. A 40-hour training will be provided along with ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training). Requirements: High School diploma or GED, background check, 5-10 hours per week (hours are flexible) and a three month commitment.

Fatherhood Community Celebration

Each year on Father's Day, Talbert House hosts this FREE event for dads and families to enjoy a day of games, entertainment, arts and crafts, food and beverages, live music, sports activities, and more.

Individual and Group Volunteer Opportunities

About us

Talbert House is a community-wide nonprofit network of services focusing on prevention, assessment, treatment and reintegration. We help children, adults and families overcome addiction, mental illness and involvement in the justice system.
