Tree PlanterWork with Taking Root staff to help plant trees at Taking Root planting events. Need for help will vary depending on current projects.Nursery LiaisonWork closely with Taking Root staff to act as a liaison to nurseries that sell trees in your neighborhood. We will provide you with promotional info and go over specific requests we have for participating nurseries. Need for help will vary depending on which nurseries need a liaison.Event HelperWork closely with Taking Root staff to help staff events, booths etc around town. You will be asked to engage with the public to advocate for the need for trees, and educate residents about the importance of tree canopy. Need for help will vary depending on current projects.Administrative HelpWork closely with Taking Root staff to help complete administrative tasks such as grant writing, database management (Registree, mailing lists etc.) and other tasks as needed. Need for help will vary depending on current projects. |
