CASA VolunteerNo special experience or knowledge is required. All our volunteers are trained to understand courtroom procedure, social services, the juvenile justice system and the special needs of children who have been abused and neglected. We welcome volunteers from all cultures, professions, ethnic and educational backgrounds. We have a particular need for bilingual volunteers, men and people of color. Must be at least 21 years of age. |

| About us | Boone County CASA began in 1991, under the umbrella of Human Services, which funded and administered the program for two years. When the affiliation with Human Services ended in June 1993, four active CASA volunteers formed a board, incorporated and began the search for funding to keep the program alive. CASA takes all cases of child abuse or neglect that go through the Juvenile Court. These children deserve to have an adult who is advocating for their best interest. |
