Junior MentorsJunior Mentors are high school young women who are critical to the success of the 4GIRLS two-day workshop. Each Junior Mentor collaborates with an Adult Mentor to facilitate conversation among their table of girls and encourage the girls to fully engage with the workshop.Adult MentorsAdult Mentors are at least 18 years old and out of high school. Adult Mentors spend both days at the workshop supporting the Junior Mentor and contributing to the experience of the middle school girls. Serving as a 4GIRLS Mentor requires a significant time commitment; however, it is very rewarding as you witness first-hand the transformation of the workshop participants. |

| About us | My vision and mission was to create a conference where girls from different backgrounds, cultures, and economic status come together for a weekend of inspiration and empowerment. Instead of listening to speakers, the girls participate in interactive activities such as self-defense, vision journaling, self-expression, dance, and more. All activities designed to expose girls to something new but, most importantly, to empower them to access their own strengths and voice. I wish I had had an event like this to attend as a young girl. I would have loved an opportunity to find my power and voice back then. |
