About us | From our humble beginning in 1951, Little Traverse Bay Humane Society has grown to meet the needs of homeless dogs and cats. Since moving to our state-of-the-art facility in 2001, LTBHS has sterilized more than 18,000 animals owned by community members and has placed more than 10,000 animals into loving homes. LTBHS is led by a staff and board of dedicated animal lovers willing to work extremely hard to improve the lives of our four-legged friends. Our top priority is to care for the animals who need us the most. We believe these animals warrant our best effort, and despite being “ownerless”, deserve a loving place to call home. |
