Needs |
Skilled VolunteersVolunteers with experience in ecology, botany, geology, history, birding, title searches, surveying and boundary marking, geographic information systems, mapping and photography bring valuable services to the baseline documentation and monitoring of the Trust's preserves and conservation easements.InternsVolunteers may serve as interns and learn about all aspects of running a land trust.Field VolunteersIn the field, volunteers may build trails, work on restoration projects, help control invasive species of plants, and encourage native ones.Office VolunteerIn the office, volunteers work on the newsletter and Web site, record keeping and correspondence, conduct membership campaigns, write grant proposals, and help with fundraising events. Attorneys, appraisers, and surveyors offer free or reduced-fee professional services. |
