Pride Festival PlanningPlanning includes: Sponsorship & Fundraising, Event Operations & Logistics, Entertainment , Vendors , Pride Pub Crawl , Family & Youth activities and Drag Queen Brunch.Professional ServicesSkilled volunteer opportunities include: Accountant, Bookkeeper, Grant writer, Fundraiser, and Lawyer.Fundraising/SponsorshipsTasks include: Develop list of potential funders, Solicit donations, Solicit sponsorships, Apply for grants, and Plan fundraising events.MarketingOpportunities include: Develop MCP printed materials, Advertising, Expand knowledge of MCP in community, Develop MCP merchandise , and Sell MCP merchandise - online and at events.Social MediaOpportunities include: Write social media posts, Create social media images, Take pictures at events, and Social media management.Community OutreachTasks include: Distribute MCP brochures/flyers around county, Talk to community groups/businesses/individuals about MCP, Develop listing of supportive groups/businesses in county, Help with Community Information sessions/volunteer recruiting, and Plan/coordinate events to connect MCP with the community. |
