About us | KAIR was established a a 501C3 in 1995 by area churches with a vision of offering assistance throughout Kalkaska County to underserved individuals and families. KAIR food pantry has served over 203,000 families with nutritional foods distributing 4.3 million pounds of food. In 2020 KAIR began a new chapter of services at our community meal site Ladles of Love. Since opening, KAIR Ladles of Love has served over 14,000 meals to families in need. All of KAIR services are only possible through the generosity of local churches, individuals, and area businesses that help support our mission throughout the year. KAIR is also supported yearly by food drives, store sales, grant writing, store sales, and our largest fundraising event, Festival of Trees. |
