Monthly LuncheonsWe offer monthly luncheons to our residents. Volunteers lovingly prepare a delicious meal in our kitchen for a house full of mothers and mothers-to-be.Teaching ClassesCasa Teresa provides a wide range of on-going classes that help our residents achieve independence, including GED preparation, nutrition, home economics, literacy, budgeting, career planning, resume workshops and building self-esteem. We accept qualified instructors who are willing to provide their talent and skill for the benefit of our residents.House Mom HelpFrom time to time, our office staff and house mothers have a need for help with various duties around the campus. This may include preparing and cleaning rooms for incoming residents, organizing baby clothes, babysitting, answering phones, data entry and filing.Sorting DonationsCasa Teresa receives hundreds of in-kind donations weekly that need to be sorted and organized for our moms and babies. Donations are used in many different ways, but the first priority is always our moms. Residents have the first pick of all in-kind donations. |
