VolunteerHigh school volunteers, under the supervision of Respite Supervisors, care for, comfort, nurture, and engage with the children while parents receive a “break” from their care giving responsibilities. |

| About us | The NNRFF operates the only center-based program in Washoe County that offers respite care for families caring for young children with disabilities and/or special needs. The RAVE Family Center’s unique combination of meeting two community needs – youth development and the provision of respite care services – has proven to be a successful partnership. NNRFF currently has three respite programs available in order to accomplish this mission. |
