Pet Therapy VolunteerWe have several special volunteers with four legs instead of two! The healing power of a visit from a furry friend is demonstrated through our pet therapy program, which began in 1997. Our many registered and certified pet therapy dogs visit patients at various Renown locations and you could become a part of the team.Various Volunteering OpportunitiesThere are various ways that volunteers can help including: assisting various departments with clerical duties and other tasks, delivering mail and flowers to patients and staff, assisting with patient discharge, assisting with providing a warm welcome at one of our information desks, or visiting with patients and circulating books, magazines, videos, playing cards and puzzles to patients and waiting areas. |
