| Description | There are two volunteer levels for this program. Volunteers with the Bill Payer Service help with a variety of tasks including writing checks (for the person being helped to sign), balancing a checkbook, and/or developing a budget. Volunteers with the Representative Payee Service have the legal authority to sign checks on the individual’s behalf, and make sure that their basic needs are met first before income is spent on other things. |
