FAM's Resale ShopResponsibilities at the shop include: sales, sorting, and stocking shelves.Office VolunteerResponsibilities include: answering phones, performing clerical duties, cleaning, and maintenance.Organize a Food DriveOrganize a food drive at your group, organization, or place of work collecting food from donors.Warehouse VolunteerResponsibilities include: sorting food, stocking shelves and refrigerators, packing bags, and distributing food.Gilchrist House VolunteerResponsibilities include: teaching a special skills class, maintenance and repair work, tutoring a client or child, or leading a spiritual class/discussion.Special Events VolunteerResponsibilities include: forming a team and fundraising for our Annual Hunger Walk, serving at special events, and "Adopt-A-FAMily" during the holidays or year round. |

About us | FAM operates with integrity and good will as a faith-based, not-for-profit, charitable organization, translating concern for the needy into action to help, and providing service without prejudice. Our goal is for hunger and homelessness to be reduced in South Orange County through FAM’s efforts, and individuals who are at risk will be able to identify sources of compassionate community support for meeting immediate needs and working toward a better future. |
