Hospice Volunteer
| Description | Sometimes the needs fulfilled by our volunteers are very practical: providing respite to a caregiver, delivering supplies, making coffee, writing letters or baking cookies. Other times, it is much more emotional: holding a hand, offering reassurance, just sitting quietly with someone who doesn’t want to be alone, and being a companion. Volunteers also help with our bereavement programs. |
