| Description | Stepping Forward LA offers a short-term paid internship specifically designed for current and former foster youth - most who have never had a job before. They are provided hands on experience while they navigate work ethic, time management, work alongside their peers, setting priorities, brainstorming new ideas and so much more. Volunteers work with the interns to teach them life skills like budgeting, resume writing, conducting mock interviews and support them as they navigate college, finding their next job, get their drivers license, purchase cars and so much more. |
