Safe Families Camp VolunteerVolunteers mentor attending youth, provide 24/7 supervision, and eat, sleep and play with the kids. They help engage kids, and provide direct support to the kids and the onsite therapists. Volunteers sleep in cabins, go on outings and enjoy the benefits of being at a “sleep-away” summer camp on a beautiful lake front! Please note, this is a week long sleep away camp, and volunteers need to be able to attend the full camp. Volunteers must be able to pass a CANS registry check as well as a full back ground check. |

| About us | Certified counselors are available to aid your recovery from all types of issues including: depression, alcohol abuse, drug addiction, domestic violence, sexual abuse, crime and more. Our experienced counselors can assist with marriage counseling, reuniting families, financial counseling and provide additional help as needed. Our staff includes licensed clinical social workers, an LADC and NFCC certified credit counselors. Individual and group therapy sessions are offered. Groups meet for drug and alcohol therapy and support for survivors of sexual abuse. We accept many types of insurance, including most types of Medicaid, and offer a sliding fee schedule for those clients without insurance coverage. We are conveniently located at 575 E. Plumb Lane in Reno, just a few blocks from the airport. |
