DocentsBoston By Foot tour guides, or "docents", are fun, knowledgeable locals who enthusiastically volunteer their time to deliver tours and share their love for Boston. They bring their diverse knowledge and skills to their tours and share a passion for our city and for telling its story. Boston By Foot docents complete an intensive six-week course. |

Each Boston By Foot tour is designed to help you experience the city in new ways – you’ll see historic landmarks, explore a diverse collection of neighborhoods, discuss facts and misconceptions, and learn new insights on the influences, characters and preservation efforts shaping the city. |
