Meal CateringProvide A Meal (catering and/or delivery by truck for up to 250 people).Fundraising and AdministrativeOff-Site Fundraising Activities (third party events) and Assist Volunteer Department (administrative tasks such as data entry, press kits, etc)Operational Advocacy: Receptionist/GroundskeepingReceptionist Duties (sort mail, answer phones, scheduling, etc) or Grounds/Repairs (painting, landscaping, cleaning).Children's Activity Center/TutoringActivities include: Special Events (assist during holidays, lead a craft project, creating events for the children), Cleaning, Assisting with Pre-K, and TutoringJob DevelopmentBoutique (assisting women in selecting interview clothing), Job Skills (mock interviews, computer skills, teach a class), and Job Fairs (staff The Shade Tree table). |

About us | Since 1989 The Shade Tree has served homeless and abused women and children, victims of domestic violence, victims of elder abuse, victims of street violence, female veterans, homeless youth and the physically disabled. Using programs offered by The Shade Tree, women can rebuild their lives. They can find employment, secure permanent housing and become productive member of the community. |
