VolunteerThe bottom line is to make a positive difference in a child's life. All new volunteers are required to go through a formal application and interview process. Volunteers are required to provide personal references, as well as, agree to a CORI & SORI background check. Volunteers are asked to provide guidance to our members through positive role-modeling. |

| About us | As the 1990s drew to a close a group of proactive citizens who recognized the needs of many of the area’s families with young children began the work of establishing a regional center where school-age children could have fun and learn in a safe and structured environment. The result of their efforts is The Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Merrimack Valley. Youth served are from the Lower Merrimack Valley area from grades 1st-H/S. We provide a safe place for kids to come to afterschool and participate in numerous educational, hands on activities from our 5 core program areas: Sports & Fitness, Character & Leadership, Education & Career Developement, Health & Life Skills and Fine Arts. |
