The residents of Tender Mercies are always in need of household items and supplies to make their home more welcoming and comfortable. Donating items on our Wish List is much appreciated by the residents as they regain stability and learn the skills needed to regain independence and self-sufficiency.

In the MEAC Marketplace, you will shop one-on-one with clients in the food area (and if needed/or requested in the clothes/household area), assist clients with bagging their food and other items, assist clients with taking items upstairs via the elevator, as well as, sort and bag large food donations, stock shelves, and do light cleaning.…
MEAC has a variety of client programs and fundraising events throughout the year. Volunteers are needed for these annual events to make them a success.
Helps clients shop in the clothes/household area of the Marketplace. Helps stock shelves and ensures that all items on shelves and on hanging racks are neat and organized. Directions given by Emergency Assistance Programs Manager.
