Supports weekly photographic activities by volunteers, Tahoe Heritage Foundation & USFS staff, create marketing and social media quality photos.

Assist with various projects, such as stuffing mailers and invitations, greet patients in other departments, and volunteer for events hosted by Public Relations, Barton Foundation and Barton Hospital.

Supports historic buildings preservation with ongoing efforts including carpentry, masonry, painting, electrical, plumbing, glass, rodent control; proof of expertise in these areas is required. Includes use, cleaning and maintenance of the shop, tools, equipment and supplies provided by Tahoe Heritage Foundation and USFS.

Volunteer opportunities are offered to support and/or chair five committees: Marketing and PR, Fundraising, Administrative, Finance, and History and Interpretation.

Pipe Keepers is the League’s citizen science program to address the leading threat to Lake Tahoe’s clarity: pollution in stormwater runoff from the Tahoe Basin’s urbanized areas. Tahoe’s beaches are an amazing treasure, but they often suffer from overuse, especially during the summer. That’s why one of the League’s strongest volunteer programs is conducting beach cleanups throughout the summer and fall.
