We welcome volunteers from the community to take part in our outdoor ministries including: restoring our forest, maintaining our prairie, volunteering at our Monarch Fest, helping in our community garden and food forest.

Walking dogs, cuddling with cats, and tidying up cages are all part of the adopt-a-pet experience. In addition to assisting with the animals at the events, we also need help with set-up and break-down cages and tables before and after adoption events.

WAG fundraising includes community outreach events, such as promoting our services to the animals of the community by having an information booth at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair and many other street fairs. Facilitate life-affirming, predesigned curriculum(s). Meet 1-2 hours weekly in-house with clients who want to become great parents. Initial training 1.5 hours followed by 1.5 hours of in-house orientation.
