To staff the information booth/table during requested shifts and provide accurate information about Child and Family Services. Volunteers will pass out agency information/parent packets and engage participants to utilize the information being provided (example: Health and Safety Fairs, Agency Fairs, and City/Community Events etc.).
To meet the direct needs of victims and/or significant others at emergency rooms and provide emotional support, offer information, give assistance with identifying appropriate resources, and aid in the problem solving and recovery processes. Volunteer will assist with coordinating activities during the month of April – Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Positions begin in January and end in May. Events/activities include: Awareness Kick-off Day, Crime Victims Awareness Week, Denim Day Partners.
