Started in 2019 with the support of Travel Marquette, NTN launched the Trail Ambassador Program. Currently there are 15 volunteers that are out on the trails keeping an eye on trail needs and providing info to visitors.
Mentoring a scholar means chatting or video chatting with them using our dedicated scholar chat software, meeting up with them for a socially distanced activity, checking up on how they’re feeling or how their homework is coming along, and so much more.

The Volunteer Team has a wide spectrum of interests: from aircraft maintenance, setting up & maintaining museum displays, maintaining the grounds and gardens, maintaining the display artifacts collection, to weekend volunteering as a museum and/or gift shop docent.
