Often needed for the families living at Sherry’s House and for parents who drop off a child to attend scheduled support group meetings, volunteers focus their time and talents to assist with childcare. On occasion, emergency childcare is needed due to unforeseen circumstances. Volunteers can be placed on a schedule or On-Call listing.

Located within Sherry’s House, there are a variety of opportunities to assist our staff, including phone coverage, mailings, donation solicitation and follow-up phone contact for in-kind donations, and logging in in-kind donations. Training will be provided.
At times our families need assistance getting to and from local hospitals, clinics, doctor appointments and support groups. Volunteers provide transport as needed. A valid driver’s license and use of your own vehicle is required and all risk of driving is assumed under your personal automobile insurance policy.
