Feeding and cleaning for the birds and mammals: food preparation and delivery, indoors and out; cleaning enclosures, dishes, and kitchen; taking out trash, recycling, and compost; and assisting staff as requested. Taking care of the reptiles and amphibians, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, water changes, and other assignments directed by the reptile and amphibian curator. This position requires a weekly commitment. Hours for volunteering are 1-5 PM weekdays and 9 AM – 1 PM weekends. Prior experience with reptiles or amphibians is required.

Assist as a crew member for a variety of media projects. Help set up for filming, camera operation, audio, floor directing, and other production crew activities. Ages 15 and older.
Tasks include: Distribute MCP brochures/flyers around county, Talk to community groups/businesses/individuals about MCP, Develop listing of supportive groups/businesses in county, Help with Community Information sessions/volunteer recruiting, and Plan/coordinate events to connect MCP with the community.
