Help monitor, feed, and maintain a feral cat colony. When practiced on a large scale, TNR dramatically reduces the number of kittens and cats impounded at local shelters. These feral cats still need to attention to ensure they are healthy and fed.
Help out in our offices with phone calls, data entry, and mailings.
Trap Ferals for Trap/Neuter Return Program. Help put an end to cat over-population. TNR has been proven to be the most humane and effective method for controlling community, free-roaming, stray and feral cat populations.
Help educate the public about feral cars and responsible pet ownership by working an outreach booth.
Help transport cats to adoption events, vet visits and out of the shelter.
We need help feeding a couple cat colonies we manage near Pico Blvd. and LaBrea in Los Angeles. Even if you can only feed one night a week, this would be a HUGE help to us.
Help with development of our resource database. Hours TBD based on volunteer availability.
Lead efforts to improve our annual fundraising events and/or add smaller events. Number of hours/month varies and can be adjusted according to volunteer availability and timing of events.
Administrative duties to support CEO/Founder. Need quality writing, data input and computer skills including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Time commitment is around 6 hours/month.
