Groups prepare and pack healthy sack lunches that will be taken to local hospitals and medical facilities (by others). Family Room hosts will provide a welcoming face to families using the room. Duties will include checking families in, giving tours of the room, performing simple administrative tasks, light housekeeping and keeping the kitchenette stocked. The Ronald McDonald Family Room® is open 9:00am-9:00pm, with three, 4 hour shifts per day.

Once a month NPHY hosts a baking contest. Volunteers will prepare snacks such as cookies, cupcakes, and other confections at the Drop-In Center. These volunteers are needed to help paint and construct sets for the Spring Concert. They usually work on projects while their child is in class.
NBT is sometimes asked to have a presence at various events. The booth/table would have marketing materials relating to our subscriptions and/or upcoming performances and information on what the Academy offers. You would receive training prior to these events so you would be able to handle questions if NBT staff is not present.
You will be at the NBT Information Table before the performance. You will be assisting patrons to sign up for a giveaway and distribution of materials on upcoming performances or events. There is typically a staff member either at the table or nearby in case there is a question that you cannot answer.
During out Subscription Campaign, volunteers assist with our telemarketing campaign by making phone calls to former or current subscribers to assist them in renewing subscriptions. A friendly phone call manner and sales experience is most welcome.
