We are looking into developing an ESL program, but we need a pool of willing and able ESL teachers.
We need caring people who are willing to teach Korean on a volunteer basis for our Supplemental class, which is a free service offering we provide to our existing students.
Is there something you would like to teach? Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be super formal nor do you need to be a complete expert. Workshops can range from Origami, Calligraphy, Cooking, Dance, Art, Piano, Sewing, etc. If you’re willing to teach it, we’ll help secure facilities.
A Reset Coach Volunteer is responsible for Coaching and Mentoring a Resident through Life Decisions involving Sobriety and Spirituality.
Provide the dinner for 12-16 residents so the group can eat together before the Bible study. (Monday or Thursday)
Volunteer in L.A. to help with fitness, arts and crafts, teach ESL, or other activities for adults and active seniors at our community center for The Exchange at El Monte.
Sorting of donations (clothing or toiletries), Helping with laundry of guests’ clothing, Assisting with sign-up of guests and getting needed clothing as needed.
Each quarter, Jamboree looks for companies and their staff to package and deliver donations directly to our residents. Help us provide: Cleaning Care Buckets, Summer Personal Hygiene Kits, Fall Back-to-School Backpacks, and Veteran Gift Bags.
Help unwrap small bars of soap & prepare care packages for guests (soap, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, razor, etc.)
If you’re a high school or college student, you can earn community service hours when you volunteer with us during the summer or whenever you’re home on a break. Or, find a location near your school where you can help create healthy communities.
