Occasionally we are in need of extra help around our offices. Help with general office tasks, organizing food drives, recruiting volunteers, or setting up at events. If you have a particular skill or service to offer, let us know.
During different times of the year, Friendly Center has special community events and fundraisers that require the help of many volunteers. Annual events includen: Spring Fun Day, Orange Int’l Street Fair, Holiday Outreach.

Family Services of JFFS needs volunteers to assist with Café Europa events for Holocaust survivors, perform in-home tech assistance, on behalf of seniors in our community and more.

Volunteer from the convenience of your own home! Make weekly social phone calls to homebound older adults. Volunteers provide stimulating conversation and friendship to older adults who are otherwise isolated from the community.
Provide homework assistance/tutor individuals or small groups of students (ages 5-12 yrs). Reinforce instruction in academic or enrichment activities. Observe and manage behavior of students according to approved procedures under the direction of the Site Program Supervisor. Be alert and sensitive to individual needs of the children and follow all health and safety practices.
The Meal Partners Program brings Holocaust survivors together with community volunteers who engage with them through the sharing of meals.
