Mentor adult volunteers as they work with Girl Scouts to create memories they will never forget.
Bilingual volunteers are needed to assist families with interpretation and translation to be involved in the Girl Scout program. Interpretation may be needed for events, trainings, in-person meetings, or phone calls. Translation services may also be needed for program-related forms and documents.
Girl Scouts is in need of office volunteers to assist in the daily service operation of supporting more than 5,000 Girl Scout members. Office tasks may include answering phones, filing paperwork, organizing materials, and any other administrative tasks as needed.
Make a BIG impact with this short-term commitment. You’ll be teamed up with a new troop leader to support a troop’s first six meetings to get them up and running. After 6 meetings, you’re done!
Deliver a variety of adult learning opportunities from troop leadership to outdoor skills and everything in-between. You might be an experienced leader who wants to share their experience and expertise, or someone who is brand new to Girl Scouts and has a passion for ensuring that girls and adults are having a fun, successful experience.
UCP has several annual fundraisers and activities whose success depends on the wide variety of skills and talents as well as the time and energy of its many volunteers. There are many ways to be included and contribute.
Help in our Sparks head office with a variety of general office work, and simple accounting tasks.
Work one-on-one or with small groups of adults in our Sparks, Elko or Reno locations focusing on continued education and job skills training. Work in an open, friendly, interactive work environment.
Help us ensure that Girl Scouting is available to ALL girls by supporting troops in at-risk or underserved communities.
Assist with a variety of Thrift Store operations: Donation preparation, processing, repairing for sale. Customer service, tag, size, and stock clothing daily. Other duties as needed.
