EDGE Impact groups are offered when adult volunteers step up to make them a reality. Groups bring together small groups of students weekly to learn and expand on shared areas of interest.

Picking up/dropping off dogs going from the shelter to vet visits, to new foster homes and to grooming appointments, usually a couple of hours during the week or weekend)

Helping Seasonal Events for our Parks and Recreation Department, such as the Fine Arts Fair, Red, White and Kaboom!, Touch-a-Truck, Farm-R-Treat, Light Up Fairfield and more!

Work with the dogs (go to a Cincinnati dog shelter and spend time playing with and or walking some of the long timers being sponsored by Sheltered Paws).

United Way of Saginaw County will be working with community partners in response to the flooding in Saginaw County and the Covid-19 pandemic. Volunteer opportunities may range from virtual opportunities to boots on the street activities. We are working with the Emergency Operations Manager and other community partners to identify the greatest needs.

RASKALS: Random Acts of Simple Kindness Affecting Local Seniors is a program for individuals and groups to help Fairfield seniors. Twice each year, in April and November, teams of volunteers go out into Fairfield to help our local Seniors with basic yard clean-up.

Assisting Children’s Programs such as the KITS Summer Musical, Let’s Go Hiking and other nature programs, and more!
