Corporate, small business and community/religious group opportunities can engage in farm work April through October. Group volunteer opportunities are designed for 6-18 people. A tax-deductible contribution is requested. This contribution helps defray the costs associated with organizing, leading, and educating groups, ensuring our ability to offer meaningful service learning experiences.

Urban Edge residents are proud of their homes, and work to clean up and spruce up common areas. We welcome anyone who cares to join us in this positive effort. Volunteers assist with raking, painting, general cleanup, securing donations.

With springtime comes new growth! We welcome adult volunteers back onto the farm to help us seed trays in our greenhouse early in the spring. Later in the year we welcome all ages to help us in the farm fields! Groups should not be larger than five people.

Particularly in the warm-weather months, we schedule community-building events that might be anything from a cookout to a neighborhood walk. Volunteers are welcome to join us, pitch in, and get to know your community.

By working with us, you’ll be able to share your skills and develop new ones, surrounded by the beautiful land and culture of Massachusetts. Our farms, our gardens, our houses, our trails, our offices, our events…they’re looking for you. If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please contact Eileen Small at [email protected] or (781)…
