Mill City Grows holds team-building volunteer sessions with organizations from school and church groups to local businesses and corporate groups. We welcome teams of 5-15 participants.
For individuals or groups interested in preparing meals for our shelter clients, LSA offers a bi-monthly opportunity to feed those experiencing homelessness. The dinners are typically on Sunday and can be served anywhere between 4-6pm. This opportunity is open to both individuals and groups!

Host a part at one of our family shelters. The host will provide snacks, dinner, dessert, activities, and small goodie bags for the children living in the shelter (about 10 children).
Shop for and furnish a client’s new home, then welcome them at the end of the day and hand over their keys – the moment their homelessness ends.
Assist throughout the year with Welcome Home Baskets, the Homeless Census Team, Homeless Placement Event Support, iCycle Rider or Event Support, Client Holiday Celebration, or as a Fundraising Event Volunteer.
Volunteer with children living in shelters on a regular basis. Playspace not only gives children time to play; it also gives their parents time to take classes, pursue permanent housing opportunities, or just enjoy a needed break.
