Public Relations Volunteers represent DNL in the community while manning tables and distributing information about the organization at Health Fairs, Expos, and other public events.
Peer Volunteers visit individuals who are often isolated and at high risk of being institutionalized, needing social support to remain independent in the community.
Access Volunteers support DNL staff members in evaluating local businesses and the barriers they present to people with disabilities. The volunteer will take measurements and record them, and may also take photos.

Office Volunteers assist with special projects in the office, such as filing, surveys, etc.
Throughout the year, we need volunteers to help with everything from the Kitchen, Barn Store, Adventure Courses, Horse Programs, and more. We provide meals as well as housing if need be for the weekend.
Every winter, we hold a free community event called Winterfest. This is an opportunity for us to give back to the surrounding communities. We run a lot of different events and depend on our full-time staff and volunteers to make them happen.
