Our collections committee is a very vital and active part of the Museum, overseeing the acquisition, repairs, maintenance, cataloging and displaying of our collection. Becoming a part of this committee would allow a volunteer to learn so much while helping the Museum greatly.

As with any Non-profit organization, the Museum’s success hinges upon strong and active leadership. We are always on the lookout for new leaders to bring fresh ideas and energy to our organization.

Do you have a passion for tinkering or restoring? Our work shop is filled with treasures that are in need of restoration.

Morning shifts are available Tuesdays from 10am-12pm in our diaper pantry to answer phones, assist new clients, fill orders for diaper delivery clients, bring diaper delivery bundles to arriving delivery volunteers, process new supplies and stock diaper shelves. The Museum has two part time staff members, our Marketing and Development Director and our Gift Shop Manager, that are tasked with keeping the Museum running smoothly and successfully. Volunteers facilitate the peer support groups for children and adults. Our model is an evidence-informed program that includes 35 hours of training. We could not deliver programs without the support of committed volunteers.

Morning and afternoon shifts available Monday through Friday. 2-3 volunteers work at a time, wearing masks and gloves. Youth and family shifts are also available. Volunteers pack bags at our Warehouse space.

With three ministry buildings and two rental homes on 15 acres, there’s always work to be done for our maintenance and facilities volunteers! Whether it’s providing snow removal, lawn care, cleaning or other small maintenance tasks, these volunteers keep us going in every season.

As our largest program, youth volunteers play a vital role in providing transportation, supervision, food preparation and special events coordination. Some of these roles provide short-term opportunities, while others allow children to experience the value of consistency through regular volunteers’ presence during drop-in.
