Throughout the year, Deliver the Dream hosts a variety of exciting events to raise funds that support our programs. Signature events, like our annual Denim and Diamonds Gala, require a significant number of volunteers, responsibilities can include: -Event set-up and breakdown -Silent and live auction help -Registration assistance -Greeting and directing guests -Raffle ticket sales
Assist with filing, data entry, and administrative projects.
Engage with street-based youth out in the community alongside one of our Outreach and Engagement Case Managers, providing access to survival resources and SPY’s onsite programs. Volunteer Opportunities on Mondays 2-4 pm, Thursdays and Fridays 11 am – 12:30 pm.
A wide variety of office support and administrative support projects are available.
Consulting volunteers include professionals in all walks of life, including: attorneys, accountants, public relation specialists, fund raisers, and investment professionals.
Support a student by becoming a virtual 1 on 1 tutor- twice a week, for 1 hour, for a duration of two semesters. More information at https://encorps.org/application-part1
Support for fundraising and community events. For example, you may help out a bingo night by checking winners and handing our prizes, check people in at educational events, or collect raffle items for a fundraising party.
Make a difference in the life of families and patients facing the end of life. If you are a caring, supportive, and empathetic individual you can provide a quiet presence, the comfort of hand-holding for the patient and respite for the family. (no hands-on care)
Assist the marketing department with brochure and poster distribution to local area businesses. They also help with community events year-round (based on availability).
Ushers should be able to stand for long periods of time and be willing to work any duty assigned; including working on any level of the outdoor spaces, directing patrons to their assigned seats, ensuring smooth and efficient audience traffic flow to help patrons get seated on time, tearing and scanning tickets, remaining after the…
