Help guests find their seats and show them where the restrooms, refreshments, and galleries are located

Office volunteers are trained by and report to the Director of Administration. Responsibilities include, physical and digital file organization, bulk mailings, answering phones, and ticket sales. Our office is staffed Tuesday-Friday 10-6. Due to the training required for this position, we ask that you commit to working with us for three months.

We’re looking for some creative, handy, skillful volunteers to help keep our building in top shape! If you like painting, light carpentry, picture hanging, and have an eye for interior design, we’d love to have your help!

Be part of the team planning music events, book clubs, poetry readings, art talks, demos, and more.

Coordinate the organization’s communications, including website, email, social media, press coverage, fliers, and via communications partners such as Wellesley Public Schools.

Coordinate events and programs for children, youth and families in the Wellesley community to learn about antiracism, diversity, equity and belonging. Past annual programs have included: Indigenous Peoples Day Family Event, Martin Luther King Family Event, Multicultural Fair, Elementary and High School Essay Contests. Coordinate the organization’s fundraising efforts including local business sponsorships, marathon fundraiser, individual donations, and grant requests (where applicable).

In conjunction with Membership and Outreach Staff, create and implement a vision for the use of video to promote SVT.
