A foster home that is on stand-by, should a permanent foster need to leave town for vacation or an emergency. (Foster application and training required)
Walking individual dogs or small groups around the QBSDR Ranch neighborhood. Will require training by Susan or qualified QBSDR Veteran Volunteer.
General upkeep of the outside areas at the QBSDR Ranch. May include weeding, pruning, picking up poop, removing dangerous debris, building/mending fences, sanitizing K9 grass areas, trash removal.
There are a ton of animal welfare grants available to rescues, but we need folks that are willing to do the research and help us through the application processes.
A large number of the dogs we receive have little to no training. We believe that basic training is an important part of the trust-building process and helps set the expectations and boundaries that benefit their future forever home.
