We invite anyone interested in community service that wish to volunteer their available time in the areas of: Mentoring, Advocacy, and Support Staff. Depending on your area of expertise, we can match your commitment to the area that most suits your interests and skills.
Sports volunteers help coaches and share their expertise in a favorite sport. LA’s BEST kids play practically everything at some point during the year.
Daily program volunteers participate during the program hours between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, as homework helpers or activity assistants.
Volunteers help us organize fundraising events, connect us to new donors and build valuable partnerships. Special events volunteers join in at various citywide events on weekends.
Assist in construction of and improvements to facilities, assist in maintenance of equipment, assist in development of public relations content (web site, flyers, etc.).
Volunteers can assist The Counseling Center planning and executing fundraisers.
Volunteers can assist The Counseling Center as an intern or providing community outreach assistance.
