The Study Buddy program provides personal tutoring for children living at our Family Emergency Shelter in Louisville. This assistance helps kids stay on track at school and reinforces good study habits when they exit to their own housing.
If you can build, fix, repair, and restore, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Your hands-on help provides the support our maintenance staff needs in the upkeep of our facilities.

Help with our after-school tutoring program.
Help with yard work, debris clean-up, demolition, painting, fence construction, and other build site projects.
Help distribute free fresh foods and dry goods to local families.
Stand in an assembly line while packing 21+ food items in a box in preparation for monthly distribution. Volunteers must be attentive to given direction to insure each box contains the same amount of items.
Perform quality checks on donated food and package variety boxes. A knowledgeable staff person will review the process of checking each donated food item for quality while working with the volunteers.
Drive individuals to places they might not otherwise be able to go such as the grocery store, doctors appointments, or shopping.
