Volunteers do everything from checking in/out students, to fitting them for and helping them select shoes.
We are looking for volunteers like you that can ensure youth are prepared to succeed in school and do not fall victim to the summer academic slide and fall further behind. We will be offering academic programming where you can work with 1-2 youth support them in building their skills in reading and math.
The Future Leaders Program works with students grades 1st – 6th providing educational workshops focused on emotional empowerment, academic achievement and college/career exploration. Daily programs consist of: Lifeskills workshops, Tutoring, Fieldtrips, or Mentoring.
Mentor2Youth is always looking for help with with planning and running our events and fieldtrips. We have fieldtrips to museums, sporting events, gaming centers and theme parks. We hold family game nights, award shows, and other events for our families, volunteers and donors.

The mission of the Food Pantry is to serve the needy by providing basic food for the hungry and responding to emergencies of those with inadequate resources. We provide a three-day basic emergency food supply to those requesting our services. All children of clients receive a snack bag with five healthy snacks in it.
Volunteers assist with dog socialization, cat socialization, housekeeping, administrative/office work, foster care, education counselor, greeter, special events assistance, and offsite adoption events. Assist with sorting food in our warehouse. Food sorting opportunities are limited to 8 volunteers per shift, and available during the day Monday through Friday, 9 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 3:30 pm. At this time, all volunteers should be ages 14 years and older.
