Help plan a fundraising event. Volunteer on one of our event committees. Donate a prize for one of our raffles or silent auctions. Help us with office work, such as mailing newsletters. Ask your congregation to provide shelter space for one week.

Help ensure that all dogs are taken on a minimum four short walks a day, while socializing and training the dogs using positive reinforcement to increase adoptability.

Some High School students become event coaches for their old elementary teams. In November and December groups of students assemble ‘quick start kits. Teams use these kits to hone their skills when preparing to compete.

Only some of the tasks undertaken by volunteers include: – Meeting and greeting patrons on concert night, often with materials for the audience, – Distributing programs and other materials at youth concerts and in the park settings, – Contacting patrons by phone or in person, – Serving at the Symphony Boutique on concert nights, –…

MVCCA is a nonprofit run completely by volunteers. If you enjoy helping others, are looking for a great way to support the arts, and enjoy meeting new people, please consider volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include: event usher, event ticket checker, mailing/calling, helping sell program ads, event coordination, and board member.

Periodic office projects and mailings, welcoming site hosts for volunteer work days, special event help and much more.

Both of our ReStores can use volunteers to help organize household goods, load purchases, unload donations and work with customers. Prefer 4 hour shifts or more anytime the stores are open– Tuesday-Friday, 10-6; Saturday 10-5. Pick a day and become a regular!
